I bought this a few days ago, the people working in the store were extremely helpful. I am not obsessed with biking gear, so Im not as picky as other people. I bought the bike knowing that I ride it infrequently. If you need a bike that you will ride everyday, is this a good one? Not sure. I do ride mine in the city all over the uneven streets of [...], it can take some serious potholes on. It was cheap and does the trick for me.
Just a bad design with cheap components. Giant stuff is normally good so this was shockingly bad.
I use the bike to commute to work, about 2 1/2 miles, and have only had the bike 3 months. I was crossing a street in a high gear and the crank collapsed, bending on itself to look like a taco, rendering the bike useless. Also, the rear break began to squeak in the short time I've owned the bike. I am very unhappy with the quality of the components.
